About

I am Mohcine Touil, an IT professional based in Murcia, Spain, working across systems administration, network operations, cybersecurity, and software development.

At Mohammed VI University Hospital, I support infrastructure that people rely on every day: network services, virtualized servers, Active Directory, access policies, and secure site connectivity. I also build practical applications that improve internal workflows.

My security interests are hands-on. Network Guardian, my open-source IDS project, explores real-time network monitoring and detection of common threats in a controlled environment.

Network Guardian

An open-source intrusion detection system built with Python and Flask. It monitors network traffic and explores detection of ARP and DNS spoofing, denial-of-service patterns, and network scans, with a web dashboard, Telegram alerts, and PDF reporting.
